About Spear Technologies

With over two decades of workers’ compensation expertise, Len brings a unique blend of experience to the Spear Technologies team. Her background in insurance operations and software enables her to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operational teams to deliver a robust customer experience framework through partnerships and industry-rich applications. Before joining Spear, Len oversaw, implemented, and managed numerous policy and claims administration systems. She was the Director of Implementation for Tropics Software Technologies (acquired by Insurity) and previously served as the VP of Operations for Guarantee Insurance Company, where she relocated backroom operations from South Carolina to her home state of Florida. Len has also held various operational roles at Unisource Administrators, a Third-Party Claims Administrator and Managing General Agency, including VP of Regulatory Compliance, VP of Claims Operations, and VP of Information Technology. Len holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tampa, a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida, and an MBA from Florida State University. She maintains an active Florida All Lines Insurance license and has been a volunteer for the Workers' Compensation Institute's annual educational conference for over two decades.
